Headmistress English - Message

Warm greetings to all parents, students, and visitors to our school website.

It is a privilege and a responsibility to serve as the Headmistress of the English Medium section (Classes I–VII) of Infant Jesus School. Our school is a place where children are welcomed with care, guided with patience, and encouraged to grow into confident, responsible, and compassionate individuals.

We strongly believe that the primary and middle school years form the foundation of a child’s future. During these formative years, children not only acquire academic knowledge but also develop habits, attitudes, and values that stay with them throughout life. At our school, we strive to make learning meaningful, joyful, and child-centred, ensuring that every student feels safe, valued, and motivated to learn.

Our approach to education focuses on clarity of concepts, effective communication, and continuous encouragement. Teachers work diligently to create an engaging classroom environment where students are free to ask questions, express ideas, and learn through understanding rather than memorisation. Equal importance is given to discipline, good manners, respect for others, and moral values, which are essential for building strong character.

Beyond academics, we encourage participation in co-curricular activities, celebrations, and group activities that help children discover their talents, build confidence, and learn teamwork. We believe that every child is unique, and our role is to nurture their strengths while guiding them with care and responsibility.

I sincerely thank the management, teachers, non-teaching staff, and parents for their constant support and cooperation. Education is a shared journey, and when school and home work together, children flourish.

With faith, dedication, and unity, we continue our mission of shaping young minds and hearts for a bright and meaningful future.

Mrs. Josphine Mary

Headmistress
