Sports & Physical Education form an essential part of daily life, with opportunities to participate in football, cricket, basketball, athletics, and indoor games. Regular practice, inter-house competitions, and annual sports meet help develop teamwork, discipline, and a healthy lifestyle. Students also take part in Yoga & Meditation, which improves focus, mindfulness, and overall well-being. Field Trips & Educational Tours provide hands-on learning experiences. Visits to museums, science centres, historical sites, and environmental projects make learning interactive and memorable. Participation in Inter-School Competitions & Fests gives students a chance to test their skills in debates, quizzes, cultural events, and sports, fostering confidence, leadership, and teamwork. Through these co-scholastic programs, our students not only excel academically but also grow into confident, creative, and well-rounded individuals, ready to face new challenges with curiosity and enthusiasm.
We believe that learning extends beyond the classroom, and our student clubs and organizations provide meaningful platforms for holistic development. Five active clubs—Sports Club, Science Club, Mathematics Club, Culture Club, and Ethics Club—nurture specific skills, values, and interests among students.
The Sports Club promotes physical fitness, teamwork, and discipline through a variety of indoor and outdoor games and tournaments. The Science Club fosters curiosity, critical thinking, and practical problem-solving through experiments, environmental initiatives, and awareness campaigns. The Mathematics Club strengthens logical thinking, analytical skills, and numerical confidence through puzzles, math labs, quizzes, and real-life problem-solving activities. The Culture Club encourages creativity, self-expression, and cultural appreciation through performances and arts-based activities. The Ethics Club emphasizes moral values, social responsibility, and community awareness, guiding students to grow into conscientious and empathetic citizens.
These clubs organize activities throughout the academic year in alignment with national and international observances such as World Environment Day, International Yoga Day, and National Sports Day. Participation in club activities helps students develop leadership qualities, collaboration skills, and initiative, while effectively complementing their academic learning.
At Infant Jesus School, we believe that leadership is an important part of a child’s overall development. The Student Council provides students with opportunities to take responsibility, participate in decision-making, and contribute positively to school life. Through this experience, students develop confidence, discipline, teamwork, and a sense of responsibility.
The Student Council includes positions such as Head Boy and Head Girl, Assistant Head Boy and Head Girl, House Captains, Club Leaders, and Class Representatives. These students are selected through a fair and transparent process that includes student participation and teacher guidance. Council members serve as role models and help maintain effective communication between students and the school authorities.
Members of the council actively assist in organizing school assemblies, cultural programmes, sports events, competitions, and community-related activities. They are encouraged to work together, support their peers, and carry out their duties with sincerity and integrity. Leadership guidance and mentoring help them improve skills such as communication, cooperation, and responsible decision-making.
Participation in the Student Council helps students gain valuable life skills and practical experience. It encourages them to work collaboratively, respect others, and contribute meaningfully to school activities, preparing them to grow into confident, responsible, and socially aware individuals.
